NEPSE QUANT RESEARCH TERMINAL

NEPSE Quant features — screener, backtesting, charts & tax tools for the Nepal Stock Exchange

Free during early access

NEPSE Quant is a Bloomberg-style research terminal built for the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). Fifteen keyboard-first screens over real NEPSE data going back to 2015 — live market data, an equity screener, walk-forward backtesting, floorsheet and broker-flow analytics, institutional charting, a real portfolio ledger and fiscal-year capital-gains-tax tools — in one dense, fast workspace.

The terminal

15 screens

One workspace, fifteen function-key screens: market snapshot, company lookup with bonus- and rights-adjusted charts, a live equity screener, walk-forward backtesting, a portfolio ledger, and reference-data feeds. Keyboard-first, research-only — no order routing, no broker connection. Free during early access; MARKET and LOOKUP are open to guests.

Stock screener

36 fields · 17 presets

A dedicated NEPSE equity screener with 36 fundamental and technical fields — valuation, quality, momentum, dividends and broker flow. Seventeen ready presets, a live narrowing funnel that shows how many symbols survive each filter, one-column-per-field results, and CSV export. This is the depth the market's shallow “top stocks” lists don't have: you build the screen, the funnel proves it, the export is yours.

Backtesting

Net of real costs

Point-in-time, survivorship-correct backtesting on NEPSE data: only information available on the simulated date is used, and companies that later delisted stay in the test. Returns are reported net of the full cost stack — broker commission, SEBON fee, DP charges, capital-gains tax and realistic slippage — and benchmarked against the NEPSE index. Return, Sharpe, drawdown and every rebalance are shown; a strategy that trails the index is reported as trailing it.

Charts

Bonus/rights-adjusted

Institutional-grade NEPSE stock charts on every symbol: corp-adjusted candles, intraday view, corporate-action markers on the price axis, drawing tools and relative strength against the NEPSE index. The same chart engine powers the free public company pages — open any stock page and use it without an account.

Floorsheet & broker flow

Inside the terminal

Floorsheet and broker-flow analytics sit alongside the research screens: who is buying, who is selling, and how broker activity concentrates over time. The analytics live inside the terminal — this page describes the capability, not any output.

Market monitor & news

Open to guests

A live NEPSE market monitor — sector heatmap sized by market cap, advance/decline breadth, and the day's gainers, losers and most-active symbols — plus a Nepal-market news feed aggregated from national outlets and clustered so one story doesn't appear a dozen times.

Portfolio & ledger

Real transactions

A transaction ledger of your actual trades drives NAV, realized and unrealized P&L, sector exposure and attribution. Every figure traces back to a booked transaction — a real ledger, not a paste-in holdings list.

Public exchange disclosures — corp-adjusted daily prices back to 2015 and roughly twenty years of corporate-action records. Missing data is shown as missing, never interpolated.

How is capital gains tax on NEPSE shares handled?

The portfolio ledger produces a fiscal-year CGT report at the enacted rates, and the free capital-gains-tax calculator and FY 2083/84 guide work without an account.

Can I try it without signing up?

Yes — the market monitor, every per-stock page and the tax tools are public, and the terminal itself opens in guest mode from any “Start free” button.
